Introduction

This major provides students with knowledge of storytelling genres ranging from short stories, novels, TV and film scripts through to writing for young people, and also provides training in the practice of scriptwriting, short story writing and writing for the young.
This major can be completed as an 18, 21, or 24 credit point option. Students wishing to complete the 21 or 24 credit point option will take additional unit(s) from the list of restricted unit choices to make up the balance of the required credit points.
