Introduction

Gender and Diversity is a cross-disciplinary major. Available subjects cover a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to minority social groups, cultural diversity, gender relations, intercultural relations, indigenous/non-indigenous relations, equity and social justice across Australian, regional and international contexts. It is suitable for students with a particular interest in social justice and social change and/or for those who are preparing to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

This major is closed to new students from Semester 1, 2014. Students who commenced the major prior to this time may still complete it.
