This major will deepen students' knowledge and understanding of the English language through critical exploration of language use in academic, literary and business contexts. Students will also hone their ability to use language skilfully in different genres both spoken and written, and will have the opportunity to enrich their appreciation of English literature. Students wishing to complete the 21 or 24 cpt option will take additional unit(s) from the list of restricted choices to make up the balance of the required credit points.
