This major will allow students to develop their language and cultural skills in Chinese according to the entry level of competence they have when entering their studies. By the end of the major students will have acquired an intermediate-advanced level of communicative skills and cultural awareness in the Chinese language. (Students wishing to undertake a 21cp major will also study Special Studies in Modern Languages A (level 3 at 3 credit points). Students wishing to undertake a 24cp major will also study Advanced Chinese B (level 3 at 6 credit points).)
