This breadth minor allows you to develop relevant programming skills with applications in gaming and mobile development. You will start with a foundation of software programming skills in Software Technology 1, before progressing to more specialised areas of programming. For the restricted choice unit, if you desire an introduction to programming, Programming for Design is recommended, whereas if you are looking for more advanced study then you can take either Software Technology 2 for key insights into efficient use of software data structures and algorithms, or Visual and Interactive Computing for technical aspects of graphics programming and processing. If you are also interested in the design aspects in games, then this minor can be combined with BN0018 Breadth Minor in Game Production towards BM0055 Breadth Major in Game Programming and Production
