At its foundations, the undergraduate Minor in the Built Environment provides students with an elementary understanding of the current industry and professional skills essential for practitioners of the built environment. Through units in design studio, design communication, building technology, and design history and culture, students will gain an appreciation of the cross-disciplinary skills and knowledge-sets foundational to practices of the built environment.
This minor cannot be undertaken by students in the Bachelor of the Built Environment (Architecture), Bachelor of the Built Environment (Interior Architecture) or Bachelor of the Built Environment (Landscape Architecture).
