This minor allows you to complement your studies with digital skills in Information Technology. In this minor, you will develop a solid foundation in digital skills, including key cyber safety issues and IT technologies. Further opportunities to develop skills are provided across a range of units including data science, organisational and enterprise use of technology and social media, programming and user interfaces, process-based systems, IT projects, AI, and legal issues relating to technology. If you are interested in further study in digital skills, this minor can be used as a basis for BM0039 Breadth Major in Digital Skills. This breadth minor is open to all students of every course, other than students in the ITS and Engineering programs as this minor is designed specifically for students who are not already undertaking in-depth IT/Engineering study.
