Breadth Major in Diversity and Social Justice (BM0037.1)

The Breadth Major in Diversity and Social Justice will provide students with the key skills to understand and appreciate diversity, and the importance of both thinking globally, and acting locally, to address inequalities and marginalisation. Open to students in all degrees, this major equips students with the tools to understand difference across intersections - specifically those of race, class, Indigeneity, gender, and sexuality. Providing students with opportunities to develop both research capabilities and practical skills in communications, this major combines theory with the kinds of work ready skills vital in any modern workplace.
