New Library hours

All floors of the Library are now open for study and in-person loans. The physical collections are available for browsing, and tables and computers have been re-configured for safe distancing. Cleaning wipes and hand sanitiser stations are located throughout the building on every floor.

  • Building hours: 8:30am-6:30pm daily
  • Librarians and Study Skills staff will be on duty 10:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
  • Short Loans room access: 10:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday ONLY

Library live chat services and ASK Advisor online drop-in consultations will continue to be available 9:00am-6:30pm weekdays, and 1pm-5pm Saturday and Sunday.

Items can also be requested for 24 hour click and collect (book retrievals only occur on weekdays).

Note that Group Study rooms are not available, as they are too small to allow social distancing.

The National Centre for Australian Children's Literature on level D has reopened for appointments only - please call (02) 6201 2062 to arrange a visit.
