Library Open 24 Hours!

Levels A, B, and C of the Library are now open 24 hours! UC ID card access only after 6:30pm, and during the campus closedown period (Christmas Eve to 2 January) only Level B will be accessible by UC ID cards.

You can:

• Book a room on Level C for group work
• Browse the shelves on Level D and borrow books on the self checkout machines 24 hours a day
• Browse and borrow 3 hour and 3 day loan textbooks between 10:30-4:30 weekdays. (If you can't attend the Library during that time, you can request 3 Day Loan textbooks online, and borrow them at any time on the self checkout machines. Book retrievals are done weekdays during business hours.)
• Use a UC computer or your own laptop
• Find a quiet space to study, or a noisy place to chat
• Heat food from home, and use the boiling or chilled filtered water in the Level B & C kitchenettes

Please note that the Short Loans room is open 10:30-4:30 weekdays only.
