You can complete your degree in three years to become a fully qualified early childhood educator, equipped with the skills to transform the development of young minds into an exciting, engaging experience.
With a relevant Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, you’ll receive a year of credit, allowing you to graduate in just two years with a qualification to help you stand out from the crowd.

According to new research, Education is considered a ‘recession-proof’ industry*. With levels of employment in early childhood education predicted to increase by 21.6% by 2026^ you’ll graduate in demand and with room to reach your potential. In response to the recent Quality Initial Education Review’s acknowledgement of a teacher shortage, the Australian Government has announced an investment of $60.6 million to support the development of accessible pathways into study and employment in the sector.

For entry into the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth to Five) you will need one of the following:
- Year 12 ATAR – selection rank 60 or above.
- Other Australian qualification (e.g. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and above).
- Overseas qualification (A previously obtained qualification that is equivalent at least to a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care).
Prior work experience determined by the time and position level that aligns with the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education students will also need to undertake additional admission requirements, including obtaining a Working with Vulnerable People Card.
