The UC guarantee

To help you transition to life at UC, we’re pleased to offer our accommodation guarantee: confirmation that all first-year domestic and new or continuing international students are guaranteed places in our student housing.

A selection of student residences are available at different price points – from rooms in multi-share apartments to private studios and units – and we’re sure you’ll find one to suit.

To take advantage of our accommodation guarantee, simply tick the accommodation guarantee box on the accommodation application form, then apply directly with one of our trusted accommodation providers.

Applications for guaranteed accommodation in Semester 1 close on 31 December and for Semester 2 on 30 June.

To be eligible for UC's accommodation guarantee you must:

  • study a course at our Bruce campus
  • be a first-year domestic or new or continuing international student
  • start your studies or re-enrol in Semester 1 or Semester 2 of the year you apply
  • submit your application to an accommodation provider by 31 December for Semester 1 accommodation or 30 June for Semester 2 accommodation.

Applications for campus 'ressies' are accepted all year, but the guarantee can only be confirmed for applications received before the cut-off dates. Those who aren’t eligible for the guarantee or who apply after these dates will only be offered accommodation once all eligible positions have been processed.

Based in Belconnen near shopping, restaurants, cafés and Lake Ginninderra, Weeden Lodge offers 309 stylish apartments and studios close to campus.

Cooper Lodge

Close to the UC Library, cafés, a supermarket and a bar, Cooper Lodge has 296 apartments and studios suitable for those who are as social as they are studious.
