Student Support — Queensland

As a University of Canberra student based at one of the TAFE Queensland locations, you will benefit from access to the full range of services provided by your home campus. Support services enquiries should be made with TAFE Queensland Brisbane student support and resources and TAFE Queensland Gold Coast student support in the first instance.

You will also be able to access available UC Library resources and off campus services.

Canvas Support

Canvas is the University's learning management system. The UC Learn (Canvas) Guide for Students provides an overview of UCLearn (Canvas) and will help you locate learning materials and assessment tasks for your study.

Study Help

You can access more of UC’s Study Help information via UCLearn (Canvas) at

An Academic Integrity module is available for students to enrol in via UCLearn (Canvas) at AIM – course will help develop your knowledge and understanding of academic integrity, in particular how to avoid plagiarism, whether intentional or unintentional.

You will need to be logged in to UCLearn (Canvas) to access modules, and will be prompted to ‘enrol’ when you first visit. Modules will then be found via your Canvas Dashboard and on the ‘Pages’ section of your unit sites in the “Resources for Students” page in Canvas.

Online Tutoring

As a UC student, you also have access to several free online tutoring sessions through Studiosity per semester. Studiosity provides you with personalised, online study help. You can access Studiosity in the Course Menu of every UCLearn (Canvas) site.

Studiosity’s subject or writing specialists can help you if you’re stuck on a question from 3pm til late most days, or provide feedback on your draft writing 24/7.

Access your free account by clicking on the Studiosity link in the menu of your unit’s UCLearn (Canvas) teaching site, or by enrolling in the Study Help site (UCLearn login required) and clicking on the Studiosity link in the left menu
