You will develop a strong understanding of the key players and institutions, develop an insight into the practices of policy makers and the challenges of developing sound policy in a democracy – a must for future leaders and managers in the private and public sectors.
If you don’t meet the entry requirements for this course you can apply for a Bachelor of Management with a major in government and politics. You’ll then have the option of transferring at the end of your first year if your grade average is strong.

This course is not open for new admissions.
There are currently no formal credit transfer arrangements for entry to this course. Any previous study or work experience will only be considered as part of the application process in accordance with current course rules and university policy. Credit is not permitted towards completion of a graduate certificate.
- Note: Students who commenced in 2012 or 2013 may complete either 6878 Indigenous Australia: Contemporary Issues or 6397 Business Ethics in place of 6599 Law and Society.
- Unit Levels: In selecting electives students should note that no more than 30 credit points at Level 1 is permitted for the entire course.
