Bowral Public School is proud of the Old Schoolhouse Museum that documents the school’s early history and the changing education systems in NSW. There is also a strong Bradman influence in this classroom due to his attendance at the school from 1913 until 1922. Class teachers may include the museum visit in the children’s learning program as part of a particular HSIE unit allowing them to dress up and step into schooldays of the past.
The Schoolhouse Museum was moved to create more space for our current students to run and play. This move could not have happened without the wonderful support of many parents who donated their time and expertise.
