Joining CSC and becoming CASE

After a decade of STEM education research excellence, SERC is joining forces with the Centre for Sustainable Communities to create the Centre for Advanced Studies in Education (CASE) at the University of Canberra. CASE brings together our two leading centres to expand our capacity and deepen our impact. With the same commitment to STEM education, CASE will tackle contemporary educational challenges. Launching in 2026 – check out the CASE webpage.

The STEM Education Research Centre (SERC) is an internationally renowned institution at the University of Canberra, led by Dr Ilyse Resnick.

SERC is undertaking groundbreaking research in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, using innovative technology to assist children's learning.
