Participants will also have access to the Cisco Networking Academy course, Introduction to Modern AI, as optional pre-learning for the short course. This pre-learning is estimated to take approximately 5 hours and is recommended for those who would like to build foundational knowledge before attending.

Additional Course Information

  • Participants should be confident using basic computing and will be required to bring their own device to connect to Wi-Fi during the course. A laptop is preferred.
  • Participants should consider using their work-issued laptop for the session to apply skills directly in their work context. Participants may also choose to bring a personal device if using public generative AI tools such as Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Prior to the course, participants may need to create accounts with AI tools such as Google’s Gemini, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude or Microsoft Copilot. Please note that technical support for account setup will not be available during the workshop.
  • Participants will be provided with a curated list of links for further learning.
