Intensive Grammar & Writing Course*
A few times a year, the ASC runs an intensive 5 day Grammar and Writing Workshop. This workshop is very popular and places are limited, so it is important to book early. We charge a small fee to cover cost of materials and refreshments, and payments must be made upon booking to secure a place.
The Grammar & Writing Workshops
The Grammar & Writing workshops aim to assist UG and PG students to improve their English language skills and complete university assignments. The Grammar & Writing workshops also provide a place where students can work together on assignments, share their writing experiences, give and receive constructive feedback.
Pronunciation Workshop
This workshop is for students who are non-native speakers of English wishing to improve their English speaking skills. Students will have opportunities to practice expressions used in the academic setting as well as those used in everyday life through a variety of activites.
Students are expected to attend ALL classes.
Research Skills
Students are advised to take advantage of the research skills workshops offered by the Library.
