The University of Canberra has more than 11,000 international alumni in 127 countries on almost every continent.
But just because you live overseas doesn't mean that you can't remain part of the alumni community and stay connected to the University of Canberra.
The University has recently established international Alumni Chapters based in the following regions:
Alumni Chapters operate in partnership with international alumni associations and Australian Government agencies including the Australian Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. By partnering with these organisations, we are able to provide a more comprehensive range of events and opportunities for our alumni living overseas.
The University encourages all overseas alumni to join an Alumni Chapter in their region to remain involved with the University, keep in touch with old classmates and create new contacts relevant to your profession.
The Alumni Office will work to expand the chapter program as required. A chapter will only be established if there are 15 or more interested alumni. If you would like to suggest a chapter for your region please get in touch.
Where an Alumni Chapter is not viable, the Alumni Office will appoint an Alumni Representative to that region. Our representatives work with the Alumni Office to host smaller events, facilitate networking opportunities and assist the University's International Office with recruitment activities and advice.
The University has Alumni Representatives in the following regions:
- The Philippines
- East Africa
