Under the guidance of a supervisor the student will undertake research and prepare a dissertation on a topic approved by the Divisional Research Degrees Committee. The thesis will be examined by two external stakeholders and will contribute to the nursing profession.
1. Design and execute a research project relating to the nursing profession;
2. Critically review the literature and methodology chosen for the specific research topic;
3. Independently undertake an analysis of data; and
4. Present results in a form acceptable for publication in a refereed journal.
Learning outcomes
