I wanted to explore mixed medias whilst. I did this by incorporating pencil sketches and watercolour together to create a piece where, as you look up past her head, you can see her imagination and thoughts in a visual form. This piece reflects my love of listening to music, and how it helps me escape from my daily life. This is seen through the loose armour drawn around her (the character's) shoulders, representing freedom of expression under the umbrella of music. You could be a knight, a princess, an astronaut, or even.. a stargirl.
