This was a gore study I did for a character assignment. I wanted to create an illustration of one of the main story beats for this character but that also included adding some blood/gore. I don't commonly draw gore images so I tried to research so that I depicted the injuries accurately and was able to translate that into my style. For a first attempt at these injuries I really like this one and the moody atmosphere I created.
