This poem was written by me to be featured in the Foundation for Young Australian's 'Looking to the skies' zine created as part of the Collective Imagining program. This poem explores the themes of connection to place, the importance of nature, and healing through gradual acceptance. The Rose Hedge is meant to be comforting, expressing that is just fine to heal slowly and find pleasure in small, overlooked things.
