Nostalgia is something every human feels. My painting, Girlhood, is a piece about grieving the child you once were. The age where you took everything for granted and lived in a constant state of ignorant bliss. Trusting everyone who said you could. The melancholy feeling you get when you remember what it was like to be so naïve and carefree.
