My work was an assessment item that responds to the question 'what am I?'. It considers identity and expresses what identity means both personally and contemporarily. It is a large scale, 3 dimensional piece that incorporates a second-hand cello as the base. It is heavily inspired by several different artists, as per the assessment task requirements, and as such uses popular culture as a lens to communicate meaning.
