You treated a symptom, the disease goes merrily on.

Abbotsleigh - Year 12
I want to pay homage to 70s drama-comedy M*A*S*H, which provided a dark outlook into a phenomenon that has defined history - war. The experiences of the medical unit, spotlighting relatively hidden perspectives in the battlefield, was unconventional in its time on TV. How does one who vows to save lives bear the implications of their role of healing people to inflict or receive violence again? Despite individual protestations, against the systemic nature of war, 'the disease goes merrily on.'
