Oil Spoils

I developed ‘Oil Spoils’ to raise awareness about water pollution, focusing on oil dumping and its effects on the water cycle. In this design, ocean life is presented through images in a collage style. These images make up the shape of a water glass, further presented with a paper straw. This demonstrates that water is valued in varying environments and is essential to all life. Dark, thick, brown paint drops into the water glass, depicting oil. The brown contrasts with the bright blue to signify it being out of place and wrong. Over this, a drippy front reads: "Oil Spoils".
