The requirement of this task was to produce a design for a residential backyard space of 120m2. This design was to include an entertaining space; with 30m2-45m2 of decking, natural privacy screen from the neighbours and a large use of native Australian plants.
To achieve this, I created a design with 3 different spaces of entertaining; 1) the typical undercover BBQ & dining area, 2) an outdoor fire pit surrounded by a fish pond, 3) a large grass area. The layout of my design has utilised every metre of this backyard, there is not a spot of wasted space.
