The Want is a short film I wrote, directed and produced for my Yr 12 History of Cinema practical. The practical was to create a 5 - 10 mins Homage to a Director from Film History. My short film is a homage to Martin Scorsese’s gangster films and utilises cinematic techniques from films including Goodfellas. The Want is a crime/drama that involves two main characters, a mafia boss and an apprentice eager to impress.
