This major addresses issues relevant to todays educational environment. It is critical that teachers have a well-regarded set of skills in, and an understanding of, educational theory and practice. Secondary teachers also need to be well-equipped with a working knowledge of classroom management in a variety of cultural, educational and ability settings along with the essentials in how to design and present teaching materials in a modern context.
