Students must have successfully completed the first two years of study in the Big Data Program at Hainan College of Economics and Business, including the following units:

For this articulation agreement, students will initially enroll in the Diploma of Business at University of Canberra College. Upon successful completion of the following units at University of Canberra College, students will progress to the Bachelor of Accounting at University of Canberra:
- 11175 - Introduction to Economics
- 11165 - Quantitative Methods in Commerce
- 11507 - Professional Orientation Fundamentals
- 9487 - Academic English
Unspecified credit towards open electives will be based on the completion of the first two years of study in the Big Data Program from Hainan College of Economics and Business.
Students who do not intend to apply for membership in Australian/NZ accounting professional bodies have the option to choose an open elective in place of the following courses: 11220 Business Law, 11221 Revenue Law, and 11222 Law of Business Associations. These students are limited to completing the 33 credit point CPA/CAANZ accredited major and cannot pursue the 39 credit point TPB Accounting major.
