The Lake Cargelligo Museum is a keeping place for the history and memorabilia of the town and district within a 60k radius. The main hall of the museum was the old Curlew Hall where dances and all types of functions were held.
They have a good collection of town history and may also be able to assist with some family history.
They have a large collection of memorabilia such as cast ironware bottles, old irons, typewriters, telephones, Aboriginal artefacts, lamps, cameras, radios, household items such as fridges, washing machines, furniture, and much more.
