Learning At UC
Mode of Delivery – study in Canberra, online or with our partners
We deliver our courses through a range of modes – online, on campus flexible, intensive, self-paced - as well as through our Australian and international partners.
Place – study where you like
The University of Canberra offers a selection of courses to UC students through our partners' campuses in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland, and internationally. Study from home with our selection of online courses or study flexibly and only come to campus if it's convenient.
Or if you want a fully campus-based learning experience we have a beautiful Australian bush campus with resident kangaroos, quality student accommodation, great coffee shops, a bar and other services.
Time - study when you like
Study one of our flexible units and you have some options - study online, study a self-paced course, choose whether or not you come to campus, or study during our intensive Winter Term. Contact a tutor using our 24/7 online tutoring service, or study in our Library Commons – open all night, every night.
Pathways - get credit from your VET or other studies
We provide you with a range of ways to enter the University with articulation arrangements in place with our University of Canberra College, partner networks and alternative entry programs.
Intensity – speed up your degree or balance your load
We offer a Winter Term between semesters 1 and 2. In some degrees this means you can complete earlier. In others it enables you to repeat a unit you may have failed in first semester and thus enables you to progress into second semester and maintain your study momentum.
Teaching strategies – engage with your learning online and on campus
Flexible approaches vary across disciplines, depending on the needs of students and the subject matter areas, but include flipped classrooms, video resources, online tutorials, quizzes, videos, work integrated learning, practicums and internships, and scenario-based learning.
Open Online Courses
The University of Canberra also offers some free open online courses. Find out more at UC Open.
