Event about:
Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Join us this Thursday October 24th for a fundraiser. We will be raising funds and awareness around Breast Cancer and for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Here are the details of the event :
When : Thursday October 24th, from 10:30am-1pm
Where : UC Lawns and Concourse
Awareness speeches at 10:30am at UC Lawns Stage. Our speakers will be : Ms. Carrie Graf, Director of Sport, Ms. Dr Jenny Weekes, Director of Medical, Counselling & Welfare and finally Ms. Kellie Toohey, Clinical Assistant Professor and Cancer Researcher.
From 10:30am to 1pm, on the concourse, we will have a Bake Sale as well as some merchandise on sale. Other activities will be held - raffle, cookie decorating stall, messages on sticky notes for cancer patients and more!!! Free popcorn too !!!
UC Gym is organising sporting challenges with prizes for everyone starting from 11am, every 30mins !! Come along with comfortable clothes or gym clothes to assure more chances to be the final winner of the competition.
