Flattening the COVID-19 Curve and Lifting the Restrictions: Exploring and Modelling
This Masterclass presents an introduction to the Data Science role in understanding the COVID-19 pandemic from the individuals and authorities’ point of view. Basically, this session is organised into two folds: Firstly, understanding the virus spread and recovery curves and how they have been built. Secondly, the effect of the data-driven modelling in predicting the future spread/collapse of the virus so that helping in making the right decisions of either putting more restrictions or easing these restrictions.
