The Terrys @ UC Hub

with special guestsThe Terrys debut album ’True Colour’ is here and they’re celebrating the only way they know how… with you! Featuring special guests Nerve (Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra) and Gold Fang (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth). Since their share-house jam beginnings in mid-2020, The Terrys have consistently served up new tracks for fans (hear the earworms ‘Our Paradise’ and ‘Cost The Peace’), and accumulated over 15 Million streams across their catalogue to date. Bolstered by early triple j support, the spot of “Most Played” on Unearthed in 2021 and a Hottest 100 debut for ‘Our Paradise’ (#76), The Terrys have set the pace for a stunning debut full-length. Already, the band have lifted a wave of cutting edge singles from True Colour throughout 2022 including ‘IDK’, ‘Waiting For You’ and ‘Rolling Stone’ to much fanfare. Now with media and radio interest brewing and the Terrydactyls pining for more, True Colour is set to springboard Gerringong’s favourite larrikins to new heights. "Don't think. Just do. And go with your heart,” rhapsodises The Terrys on the secret sauce to their debut album… much could be said for your attitude to coming along to this tour. Don’t think. Just do. And go with your heart. Blood, sweat, tears and hell of a lot of froth has gone into this milestone in The Terrys career. Come celebrate being a part of this journey for what is set to be a tour, a record and a band to go down in history. With love - The Terrys"You know you’re in for a good time with The Terrys” - Triple J

Justice For The Damned @ UC Hub

Rising from the ashes of the chaos and wastes called the collective human experience of the last three years, Sydney metallic hardcore juggernaut Justice For The Damned return to the stages with their biggest headline tour to date this November, and bringing their friends Kublai Khan (USA), Sanction (USA), and Honest Crooks along on their aptly named Emerge From The Fire Australian Tour.Since day one, Justice For The Damned have been grinding their way through the Australian heavy scene to create a sound that no one can deny. The aggression in their music is unrivaled, and that hard work lead them to their ground breaking sophomore album Pain Is Power which landed itself in the top 20 on the ARIA album charts. Following on from the success of Pain Is Power, the band has toured relentless both home and overseas, sharing stages with Polaris, Thy Art Is Murder, and good friends Kublai Khan, who now join them on this run of shows in Australia.Kublai Khan turn hardships into hypnotic and heavy metalcore upheld by nimble metallic fury and pit splitting spirit. Grinding for over a decade, the Texas four piece put all their trials and tribulations into their latest album "Absolute". From the aptly titled 'Self Destruct' which shines a light on the truth that humanity is heading towards an end of their own doing, to "The Truest Love" that shines a light on the importance of responsibility in family, there is no stones left unturned, and the musical and lyrical violence makes these messages impossible to ignore.Sanction have developed a large underground following throughout the world with their ability to perfectly blend groove and heavy into a hardcore package that was exemplified on their most recent release “Broken In Refraction”. Honest Crooks, have stuck to their guns their entire career, and it has lead them to truly earning the title Hellsworth’s Heaviest. Their most recent single “Serpent Of Old” is a furious ride from start to finish, and has solidified the band’s sound as one people cannot ignore.Justice For The Damned’s Emerge From The Fire Australian tour promises to be the heaviest tour fans have ever experienced, and one whose echo will last long after the last breakdown has ended.

Midland @ UC Refectory

Grammy®-nominated trio MIDLAND will return Down Under in December 2022 as they bring THE LAST RESORT: GREETINGS FROM TOUR to Australia.  The country music superstars will kick off their tour in Canberra on the 8th December before making their way up and down the East Coast of Australia. Hailing from Dripping Springs, TX lead vocalist Mark Wystrach fronts Midland’s rich sound that is rounded out with lead guitarist Jess Carson and bass player Cameron Duddy. Rooted in tradition in both sound and style the trio initially garnered attention playing clubs in the region.  Their critically acclaimed freshman album, “On the Rocks” (Big Machine Records), features 13 tracks with song writing credits from each member alongside hitmakers Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.  Launching to rave reviews from notable outlets such as the Los Angeles Times and Rolling Stone Country, “On the Rocks” was declared “the year’s best Country album” by Washington Post. Their debut No. 1 single “Drinkin’ Problem,” which offers an intentional nod to Country music reminiscent of the 1970s and 80s, earned the band their first Grammy Awards nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.  Midland was also named New Vocal Group of the Year at the 2018 ACM Awards and nominated for three CMA Awards including Vocal Group of the Year, Single of the Year for “Drinkin’ Problem” and New Artist of the Year.   Their second album LET IT ROLL was a top five release on the Australian Country album ARIA Charts in 2019 and coincided with their first visit to Australia as part of the international contingent headlining the inaugural C2C Music festival in September 2019.  Showcasing their Texas County/traditional country style, they gripped a local audience that loved their retro 70s country sound and songs about lost love, endless desert roads, electric rodeos and drinkin’ problems. Midland will release their new album THE LAST RESORT: GREETINGS FROM (Big Machine/UMA) in May 2022. The trio spent the pandemic exploring their creative depths, from progressive Country that grew out of “Urban Cowboy” through Dwight Yoakam’s post-traditionalism, and arrive with their third studio album.  Midland once again tap into that post-urban cowboy sound that their fans love.   The album is accompanied by a European and US Tour from May 2022.  Midland’s special guest is Australia’s own country music superstar *Travis Collins. Since bursting onto the scene with Start the Car in 2005, Collins has fast established himself as a leading light in Australian song. Nine studio albums later and Collins is a regular mainstage fixture at Australia’s peak country music festivals and routinely plays to sold-out crowds across the country. His most recent album, Wreck Me (2020) reached No.1 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart, debuting in the Top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart, and landing at No.4 on the iTunes Australian Albums Chart. It also landed Collins his second ARIA Awards nomination for Best Country Album. Collins is a multiple Golden Guitar Award winner. Pre-sales for THE LAST RESORT: GREETINGS FROM TOUR will commence from Friday, 6th May.   General on sale will begin Tuesday, 10th May, 10 AM local time.  *Travis Collins not appearing in Melbourne
