At this event we ask ‘How can our food systems sustain growing populations during times of crisis while addressing equity, cultural, nutrition and environmental sustainability imperatives?’
The catastrophic impacts of recent drought, bushfires, floods and the pandemic in the Canberra region have heightened the local importance of global problems. Developing solutions to these requires community, industry and interdisciplinary academic collaboration to support imaginative and practical experimentation underpinned by rigorous evidence, assessment and evaluation.
This event will highlight the wealth of knowledge and inventive practices in the Canberra region and looks towards how we can strengthen the region's future food resilience.
