About the Pintubi Nine Art Display
The works of art on display at UC represent a group of paintings created by members of the Pintubi Nine family and as such is the first time in Australian history that they have been brought together and exhibited in one place. The works illustrate aspects of the ancestral landscape known to the family and clan. Following their exhibition at UC, the works will be toured across a number of cities in Europe to promote Australian Indigenous art and culture.
