ACT Reconciliation Day in the Park
Enjoy free performances, workshops and storytelling at the Reconciliation in the Park event this Reconciliation Day.
Acknowledging the Indigenous custodians of the Canberra region and their contribution to the capital, it’s an opportunity to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements and explore how we can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The day’s activities reflect the National Reconciliation Week 2019 theme Grounded in Truth, Walk Together With Courage, which encourages Australians to engage in meaningful conversations to develop a deeper understanding of our national story and our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
Immerse yourself in a culturally rich day with activities including basketweaving, storytelling, live performaces, childrens amusements and food vans.
