Mr Roy Trivedi, UN Resident Coordinator for Timor Leste since March 2018. Previously he has served as UN Representative in Papua New Guinea; worked for DFID UK, as Head of Civil Society; Team Leader for the UK Government’s White Paper on international development (2009); DFID in Tanzania, Central Asia and the Caucasus, and on peace-building and conflict resolution in various parts of Africa. He has also worked in NGO sector sector in UK, Mozambique, India and Malawi. He studied Law at the University of Sheffield, UK and M.Phil (Dev Studies) at the IDS, Sussex.
Mr Wonesai Workington Sithole is the Chef de Mission for IOM in Timor Leste. He is a seasoned emergency specialist with 18 years’ work experience in Disaster Risk Reduction in Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East . This work covers the intersection of migration, natural disaster, climate change, sustainability, development and critical adaptation theory. He has a Masters in Disaster Risk Management at the University of Free State in South Africa, and currently enrolled in PhD.
Ms Hanna Stenbacka Köhler is Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist at UN Resident Coordinator’s office in Timor-Leste. She coordinates with other UN agencies on M&E issues, with UNSDCF, Spotlight Initiative - eliminating all Forms of violence against women and girls, among other agencies. She has previously worked at the Financial Supervisory Authority, Sveriges riksbank (central bank); as board member of the UN Women in Sweden. She has a Master’s in Economics and Econometrics, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Stockholm University.
