UC Medical & Counselling's Bystander Intervention training explores how challenging situations can affect perception and decision-making, and provides techniques for taking clear action under pressure.
Presented by psychologists from the UC Medical & Counselling Centre, this training identifies safe and effective strategies in common bystander situations, including discrimination, bullying, sexual assault, harassment, intimate partner violence, mental health issues, and harmful use of drugs and alcohol.
Discusses services that can assist in the community and on campus, including the university's incident reporting process.
