Global Employability Program - Communicative practice sessions
The Global Employability Program provides International Students a unique insight into Australian workplace and the opportunity to learn new skills and practice these in a safe and supported environment before starting their placement. The aim of the program is to develop your confidence through interactive language and professional engagement activities which will improve your familiarity with Australian workplace norms, culture and language. This program addresses the need for international students to have the appropriate levels of communication and workplace awareness to succeed in their placement, secure employment opportunities and succeed in their chosen professions. Students who have previously participated in this program have reported improvements in communication and cultural capabilities in the workplace.
Additional Information
The sessions aim to develop a variety of skills including confidence, communication, cultural awareness, familiarity with workplace norms and language that will assist students throughout their placements and professional journey after UC.
To participate in the communicative practice sessions, you must first complete the online program.
