Student Blended Mental Health First Aid
Medical & Counselling are offering students the opportunity to complete Mental Health First Aid Training. The Mental Health First Aid courses will be delivered in a blended mode. This includes a combination of online (eLearning) and an Instructor-led component which will be delivered face-to-face on campus. This in person part of the training allows participants the opportunity to revise and consolidate knowledge and skills in a group environment, and to apply their skills to specific scenarios. 2 After completing both components of the blended course, participants can complete an online Accreditation Assessment to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider.
Cost per person: $100.00. Please note that participant numbers are limited, and registration is essential to register email jody.kerr@canberra.edu.au . Please do not hesitate to email me should you have any further questions. Note the payment for MHFA training is non-refundable.
