The University of Canberra’s inaugural Staff Giving Day, Walk Together, invites our community to join forces in support of our UC Students who are facing financial hardship.

Hosted by the UC Advancement Team, Walk Together will include an accessible, mapped out, short walk around our beautiful campus, followed by a free BBQ on the concourse, with all staff and students invited to participate.

This special day includes a Staff Giving Day, where everyone is invited to make a tax-deductible financial donation in support of our UC students in need. UC Staff’s generosity to our students through our Staff Giving Program is something that is extremely valued and has played a key part in giving our most vulnerable students’ the opportunity to continue their studies and achieve their goals.

However, the need continues. In 2021 the UC Foundation saw 139 eligible applicants apply for a UC Foundation Scholarship, but due to funding, only 17 could be awarded. Your support to our Staff Giving Day has the power to change lives. Every dollar counts and together, makes an enormous difference!
