Podcasting 101 with UC's CCCR and ArtSound FM
Two highly experienced ArtSound community radio presenter/producers will show you how it’s done, with hands-on use of podcasting and studio consoles, microphones, and recording devices and software. We’ll cover such aspects of podcasting as using microphones effectively, editing sound recordings, structuring podcasts and managing their quality, and planning and conducting interviews. We’ll learn the basics of editing software packages that participants can then download and use at home. We’ll practice interviewing each other and learn some effective ways to create podcasts and other recording packages.For content, we’ll share compelling stories, or make stuff up! And we’ll provide some guidance on how to pitch or post your podcast.
Additional Information
Cost for General Pulic is $180. Cost for tertiary students with ID number is $90. Please email cccrshortcourse@canberra.edu.au to arrange a concession rate or to ask questions.
The dates are Saturdays, 20 & 27 of January 2024 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. each day.
