UCLivex presents PACIFIC AVENUE as part of an exclusive all ages show series at UC Hub on Dec 4th, supported by Smart Casual and Better Left Unsaid.
UCLivex are bringing a live music experience for people of all ages – curating an end-of-year celebratory show series to deliver young people the opportunity to be a part of our vibrant live music culture in Canberra and beyond.
Indie-rock quartet Pacific Avenue birthed when band members Harry O’Brien and Ben Fryer met after tying for second place at a local busking competition. After recruiting mutual friends Jack Kay and Dom Littrich to complete the foursome, Pacific Avenue began writing and releasing music - taking cues from influences rooted in classic rock and roll such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Oasis, as well as Australian luminaries Jet, Powderfinger and Silverchair. The group fluently combine their heterogeneous array of styles to produce an interconnected sound that is virtuously and intuitively their own – garnering impressive streaming numbers, triple j support (including placing #108 in the 2021 Hottest 200 countdown) and comfortably packing out rooms all across the country.
Sharing stages with local favourites Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale and Tash Sultana, and scoring festival appearances at Yours & Owls, Lost Paradise and This That Festival, Pacific Avenue are showing no signs of slowing down.
