The University of Canberra is bringing football fans together as the Socceroos continue their FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign in the knockout stages. Watch every moment live on the big screen, soak up the atmosphere alongside fellow supporters, and enjoy a family-friendly event with food and drinks available throughout. Australia's Round of 32 clash sees the Socceroos take on Egypt for a place in the Round of 16. Egypt secured second place in Group G after finishing level on points with Belgium, missing out on top spot only on goal difference. The Pharaohs have proven difficult to break down throughout the tournament, progressing unbeaten from a competitive group. After a determined group-stage campaign of their own, the Socceroos will be looking to continue their resilient run and book a place in the Round of 16.

In 2025, Distance Running will be held in conjunction with the Gold Coast Marathon (10km, half marathon and marathon events) and will be contested in both men’s and women’s competitions.  Represent Team UC and compete against students from universities across Australia. The UCX Op Shop provides students with the opportunity to purchase affordable clothing, homeware, small furniture, study materials and more. It also gives students and the UC Community the opportunity to donate items that they no longer want or need. With a focus on sustainability, the Op Shop is a great place to find amazing items at great prices. The UCX Op Shop is open to all UC community members. UC Medical and Counselling Centre and the Citizen Centred Justice Clinic (CCJC) are offering FREE Will Information Sessions for staff and students at the University of Canberra. The session will be led by an experienced lawyer from CCJC and will focus on the importance of making a will, how to utilise a will kit, key factors to consider, and how CCJC can assist you in creating your will.After attending this session, attendees are encouraged to attend the FREE Will Writing Session. In the Will Writing session, you will learn how to formally write your will, review final considerations for your will, and have your will witnessed.
