How to Apply

Are You Eligible to Study at UC?

Application Deadlines:
Semester 1 (January - June) : Applications open October 1 and close November 15
Semester 2 (August - December): Applications open March 1 and close April 15

Apply to Study Abroad

There are three ways that you can apply to participate in the UC Study Abroad program.

1. Apply through the Study Abroad office at your home University

Your University may have affiliations with UC or with a Study Abroad agent.

2. Apply through a Study Abroad Agent

UC is affiliated with Study Abroad agents from around the world. You may contact one of these agents to arrange your Study Abroad application to UC.

3. Apply directly to UC

With the assistance of the UC Study Abroad Officer, you can arrange your own Study Abroad placement.

Apply for Student Exchange

You must apply for UC 's Student Exchange program through one of our exchange partners. In other words, you must attend a University which holds an existing exchange agreement with UC.

The Application Process

PLEASE NOTE:

* You must complete our online application after speaking to your University's study abroad and exchange office. If you plan to live on campus, apply for housing at the same time.

** The quickest way to accept your offer and pay is by scanning and emailing your documents to international.admissions@canberra.edu.au and copy in the studyabroad office at studyabroad@canberra.edu.au

*** Australian provided OSHC, Overseas Student Health cover, is compulsory for issuing your student visa unless you are a citizen of Sweden, Belgium or Norway. UC's OSHC provider is Allianz Global Assistance: https://www.oshcallianzassistance.com.au/
