Learning outcomesOn successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Plan the development of a new solo performance work;
2. Review and justify your own creative processes in the development of small scale new performance work;
3. Discover, organise, create and perform a solo performance work;
4. Integrate the range of theoretical and practical skills that have been introduced and developed in the Acting program into a personal framework for your creative practice an as emerging actor/performer; and
5. Employ communication skills in an academic and/or creative context.

Students need to be dressed in appropriate attire for practical classes. Black training pants
(Preferably covering the knees for protection) and t-shirts. No singlets allowed.
Required IT skills
Students require general computing skills in applications such as word, PowerPoint and basic internet search capability.
Students will be required to engage with the Canvas site. Students will be required to
download all learning and teaching resources from the Canvas site including, unit outlines,
weekly lecture notes, assessment task instructions, readings and associated handouts. Students
will also be required to submit written assignments on-line.
