Students will need to purchase the case course pack from Harvard Business Review in order to complete the assessments in this unit. The course pack will provide the specific cases we will work on each week in workshops along with some additional readings about learning with and discussing cases. The course pack will be needed to successfully complete Assignment 1 and Assignment 2. A link to purchase the case course pack will be provided on Canvas.
Additional readings will be listed on the UC Learn (Canvas) site and are available from the library via the Reading List link on Canvas.

Failure to attend the simulation workshop in Week 13 will result in the award of a zero grade for A3. Exceptions will only be possible if you have an approved extension application.

To enhance understanding of academic integrity, all students are expected to complete the Academic Integrity Module (AIM) at least once during their course of study. You can access this module within UCLearn (Canvas) through the 'Academic Integrity and Avoiding Plagiarism' link in the Study Help site.
Use of Text-Matching Software
The University of Canberra uses text-matching software to help students and staff reduce plagiarism and improve understanding of academic integrity. The software matches submitted text in student assignments against material from various sources: the internet, published books and journals, and previously submitted student texts.
While attendance at weekly workshops is not compulsory, it may be difficult to pass the unit without regular attendance as all assessments have components that will be worked upon during class time. In particular, A1 is related to your contribution to class discussion in regards to the weekly case analysis from Week 3–11. Additionally, failure to attend the simulation workshop in Week 13 will result in the award of a zero grade for A3. Exceptions will only be possible if you have an approved extension application.
Please note that masks are required in teaching spaces for Semester 2, 2022.
Required IT skills
Basic computer skills will be needed to complete the A3 Stakeholder Engagement Simulation. The simulation will be run via a third-party provider using Zoom. To participate verbally, rather than just typing, you will need a microphone. The simulation is run using an application/executable file and it can be downloaded to both Mac and PC (it cannot be used on phones/tablets). Full details will be provided on Canvas.
